Captain wins the points Well done again men on winning three more valuable points. We are a very workmanlike team at the moment and making it very difficult for the opposition .
Kimberley set their stall out similar to ours causing a stalemate with not very much happening. What was surprising was Kimberley controlled the center of the park. They had the middle but were as guilty as us for giving the ball away. Our defence did well, but our playmaker wasn’t in it and our front men didn’t cause Kimberley too many problems during the first half.
The game carried on in the same vein in the second period with neither keeper over worked. The Bees got their goal midway through the second half after a goal mouth scramble. The ball fell to captain Jacko who made no mistake with a bullet in the top corner from 8 yards. (1-0 after 70 minutes)
We held on comfortably for the rest of the game but bad luck seems to be chasing us this year as yet again a 50/50 tackle saw new boy Ironmonger carried off on his debut. He will be out for 4 weeks.
Bignall, although you need to work on your distribution your work ethic is second to none - keep it up!
Remember men, football, pass and move. You wont always get away with the 3 points you won today..
