Much better than last week.

The shape was better, the discipline was more controlled, we defended as a unit and the finishing was spot on well done!

Get it into your brains how it feels losing in games you should have won and then this game how nearly everything was right and you come away with a convincing and deserved win. This win did not come out of luck. We all worked hard for it from the keeper to the front men and this is what we need to do week in and week out. All this running and tackling you’re doing for each other in training and on match day is critical, its called BASICS. Keep this hard work up men and hopefully we should start to turn the corner and get the Bees sting back.

The game started with a bang when Hassall sent a peach of a ball through to Macca who lobbed the oncoming keeper from 20 yards (6 minutes).

Just a few minutes later and this time Bell sent a defence splitting pass to new boy Morris who made no mistake slotting under the keeper (10 minutes)

Matrix began to settle down now and just before the break beat the keeper again. 3-0 (40 minutes)

We started the second period in the same vein passing and moving, looking hungry, everybody wanting the ball and sure enough we extended our lead with the goal of the game. This time it came from Farmery who blasted a exorcet into the top corner. (50 minutes). Super sub Doyle [Shaun] came on and joined in the party with a strong run into the penalty box slotting the ball wide of the keeper. (65 minutes).

M.o.m Bell finished off the rout with a solo run started at the half way line beating two defenders then making the keeper lie down before walking into a empty net. (85 minutes)
