Code of Conduct

Players Behaviour

  • Players are all expected to abide by the laws of the game.
  • During a game, ALL jewellery must be removed other than a wedding band – which must be taped up if not removed
  • Players/fans are not expected to use foul and abusive language towards any Match Officials.
  • Players not directly involved in the game must stand behind the rope with any Fans.
  • Players not participating in the game are still expected to adhere to the above rules as appropriate.
  • All players are expected to help with the preparation and clearing up at Home matches. i.e Putting up/taking down of nets, Roping off the pitch/taking down the rope, putting out/bringing in corner flats, carriage of kit/equipment
  • Substitutes are expected to ‘Run the line’ when asked by management .
  • Players must attend Fixtures wearing their Matrixgrade Tracksuit and their Matrixgrade Polo Shirt. They must also have clean boots in Advance.

Availability

  • Players should let the Manager know if they are not available for Training or Matches at the earliest possible time. Ideally 48 hours prior to the session/game.
  • If a player misses training through injury then they must confirm their fitness for the following game by 10am n the day of the game, otherwise they will be overlooked for selection.
  • If a player has been selected within the Squad and Fails to advise the Management of their Non-Attendance then a Fine of £20 will be enforced - failure to pay will result in De-Squad Selection .

Fees/Charges

  • Players will pay ‘subs’ on the day of a game. For the starting XI subs will be £5. For substitutes that play a part in the game a fee of £5.00 is applicable. For substitutes that do not play a part in a game the fee will be £3.( the additional £2 is to cover Training ).
  • Match day fees cover the cost of hiring the pitch, the referee’s fee and it also covers the cost to hire the training facilities. Subs will also be used to purchase new equipment when necessary. i.e Matchballs etc
  • If you fall more than two weeks behind with subs then you will not be eligible to play on a Saturday until you are up to date.
  • Any monies that are left over at the end of the season go towards the cost of Trophies/Presentation Night and/or new training equipment and/or replacement kit.

Fines

  • If a player receives a yellow card during a game then a Club fine of £10 is applicable. The Club will then pay the F.A the relevant Administration Charges.
  • If a player receives a red card during a game then the Club fine is the F.A fine, rounded up to the nearest £10.
  • All Club fines should be paid within two weeks of the secretary informing the player that the paperwork has been received from the F.A.
  • Players arriving at a game that are more than one minute late without prior warning will be fined £5.00 for each instance
  • Players failing to arrive to a game without the correct Kit (see Players Behaviour, ‘h’) will be fined £5.00 per instance.
  • If a Player reaches 12 discplinary points He will be fined £5 by the Club. For every 6 points after that he will be fined a further £5 per instance.
  • If a player is found to be smoking in the changing rooms he will be fined £5 by the Club.
  • If a player decides to move Clubs we have the right to hold on to his signature until all outstanding monies are paid

Training

  • ALL players are expected to attend training.
  • Where there is no game on a Saturday, expect training to take place at Annesley at 1.30pm.
